The following is a press release issued by the Ukiah Police Department. This has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:
On February 24th, 2023 at about 9:05 am, a Willits PD (WPD) Officer on traffic enforcement assignment on South Main Street, observed Keono Lara (31, Fort Bragg) texting on his cell phone while driving.
During the traffic stop, Lara admitted he was a 290 PC Registrant and on felony probation for a previous conviction of possession of child pornography. Lara’s probation terms include, but are not limited to; obey all laws, submit to search and seizure, and he must provide passcodes for all of his electronic devices.
A tablet and several phones were located in the vehicle with Lara. A search of the tablet’s contents revealed over 100 images and movies of obviously very young females engaged in various sex acts with adult males.
Lara was arrested and booked into the county jail for violation of 311.11(a) PC – Possession of Child Pornography and 1203.2 PC – Violation of Probation. Both are felony charges.
The investigation into Lara’s electronic devices is ongoing and additional charges may develop.
Jesus Christ!! What do you do with these people? So sick in the head & an ever present danger to kids if not in jail. Not to mention the poor kids in the pics/vids. Life in prison for those who produce, distribute & consume this shit! The perversion doesn’t subside just because they get jail or therapy. They’re lifelong threats to society.
I’m so with you on this. These kind of people need to be locked up for ever and not let out. I lost my daughter to two men who were register sex offenders. And I know another young lady who lost her life to one also. Bothe girls in their 20’s. They end up killing at some point. Our justice system is so messed up and California’s laws are so backwards. It’s time for change.

I’m sure Eyster and judges will let him right back into the community. Don’t go down that rabbit hole of the disgusting networks behind that type of shit. It will make you sick. It’s damn near impossible to find them.
