The Coombs Family, the Town of Littleriver, and Getting Married in 1872—Now at the Mendocino County Museum

An all-new display on the legacy of the Coombs family is now open at the Mendocino County Museum.

Museum goers are invited to view the wedding outfits of Richard Coombs and Narcissa Evans, paired with photographs and family history. Discover how this prominent family helped establish Littleriver, blazed new trails, and of course find out what one wore for a wedding in 1872.

Legacy at Littleriver will be on exhibit through the spring, be sure to check it out during the limited display time.
