[UPDATES]Two Men Reportedly Stuck on Rocks Off Fort Bragg’s Glass Beach—Water Rescue Underway

Two men have reportedly found themselves stuck on offshore rocks along Glass Beach, a popular tourist destination in the Mendocino County Coastal city of Fort Bragg.

Scanner traffic that began at 3:30 p.m. indicates a multitude of resources are converging on the incident reportedly located at Glass Beach Point including the United State Coast Guard, California State Parks, Fort Bragg Fire Department, and both air and ground ambulances.


UPDATE 3:54 p.m.: Scanner traffic indicates the precise location of what has been dubbed the “Glass Incident” is Otsuchi Point.


UPDATE 4:04 p.m.: Fort Bragg Fire has been cleared from the scene. It is unclear at this point if the men have been successfully extricated from the rocks.
