Firefighters have been deployed to the “Soda Fire” burning east of Boonville along State Route 253.
A firefighter on scene on the 14000 block of SR-253 reported that a forklift was on fire which spread minimally to nearby vegetation in close proximity to a fuel tank.
The initial callout around 11:55 p.m. requested a full wildland fire response including air assets.
