Xanax, Cocaine, Cash: Fort Bragg Brothers Arrested After Allegedly Using Social Media to Sell Narcotics

Ivan Gaeta and Esteban Gaeta, brothers from Fort Bragg, were arrested on September 23, 2023 after the Fort Bragg Police got intel they were using social media to sell drugs. 

Fort Bragg Police Chief Neil Cervenka told us officers obtained a search warrant for their residence on the 100 block of Dick Williams Way.

When officers arrived, 27-year-old Esteban was found in the front of the residence with 28 generic Xanax pills on his person. Officers searched the residence and found an ounce of THC oil, 54 grams of cocaine, packaging material, a digital scale, and about $3,000 in cash.

28-year-old Ivan, Esteban’s older brother, arrived at the residence while officers were conducting their investigation and were detained. The brothers were both arrested and booked into the Mendocino County Jail. 

Esteban was charged with felony conspiracy and possession of controlled substances for sale. Ivan was also charged with felony conspiracy as well as felony possession of a narcotic for sale. He was also charged with two misdemeanors: possession of marijuana for sale and possession of over 1 ounce of marijuana.

Officers were able to obtain a bail enhancement for both suspects setting their bail at $250,000 each.

Chief Cervenka told us that before leaving the scene, a neighbor approached one of his officers and thanked them for taking care of the “drug house” in the neighborhood.

It must be stated that the charges have not been proven in a court of law. In accordance with the legal principle of the presumption of innocence, any individual described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

  1. I say construct. Large catapults at the border. Any non citizen that breaks the rules gets a El pronto ride back to the homeland 0 tolorance. They already broke the law just sneaking in That was the first chance they blew
