The Mendocino Coast Children’s Fund (MCCF)  once again created hundreds of smiles for our coastal community. MCCF donated more than 350 soccer balls to Coast Youth Soccer League for players to take home and keep forever.  MCCF, a premier sponsor for Coast Youth Soccer League, wanted every child to be able to practice their skills at home.  Coast Youth Soccer League’s player numbers have increased significantly over the last three years and is the largest recreational sports league on the coast. Soccer continues to be enormously popular.   But undoubtedly, the increase is due to the scholarships provided by Mendocino Coast Children’s Fund.  These scholarships allow any child on the coast to play soccer, regardless of their ability to pay for the registration fee.  MCCF also provided brand new balls to Mendocino K8 and Fort Bragg Middle School soccer teams.  There is no doubt how valuable these investments are for our coastal youth.  For more information about Mendocino Coast Children’s Fund and how to donate to them, please visit their website at Mendocino Coast Children’s Fund – Meeting important needs of coast children since 1992 (mccf.info)

Please contact MCCF at 707-937-6111 to inquire about services.  Office hours at 244 North Franklin in Fort Bragg and now also at The Community Center of Mendocino.
