A woman has reportedly fallen from a horse and injured her back while riding on a rural property south of Willits prompting first responders to converge on the scene.

Scanner traffic began around 12:16 p.m. indicating the incident occurred near the intersection of Ridgewood Ranch Road and Maple Lane just south of the Seabiscuit Heritage Foundation, a historic horse facility.

The incident was characterized as a “medical Charlie response” which means the injuries could be potentially life-threatening.
