  1. The lake this time of year because of all the water run off has crazy underwater current makes a circle in that area goes all around the lake.

    • Roland you need to grow up and have a little self respect, this is not the place or time to show your ass as you have done, perhaps you should apologize for your tasteless comment!? I’m almost embarrassed for your stupid ass

        • A D Bag by any other name is still a D Bag.

Just because Roland “has” the right, should he say it?

Someone lost thier life, under unknown circumstances.
Therefore, someone lost a mother/father, sister/brother, son/daughter, friend, etc and is hurting the worst kind of hurt, the ultimate loss.

          And Roland need/wants a laugh?

Fk Roland and his shallow addiction.

Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.

  2. What is up with all the bodies being found? Humbolt county lake county Mendocino county. Makes we wonder. There is never a follow up story with any of them. It’s just hey a body was found then nothing.

    • Well Katy, it’s the one certainty in life, people die everyday.

An avg of almost 3 a day in Lake County.

Just because you notice it more now, what with the proliferation of internet news, doesn’t mean you need to worry.

      • Who says I’m worried? I just was pointing something out that seems to be happening quite a bit and it’s not common for bodies to just be found in random places.
People do die you are correct but random bodies being found then nothing more about them.
There has to be a cause of death and even an identification of the person.
        That’s the point I’m making.

  3. Ugh, I am so sorry for this person and their loved ones. Just had a drowning here in my neck of the woods. Teenager who got swept away and pulled under on the Russian river. They had to use special underwater surveillance to find him. Great reporting though, Matt and that’s a beautiful picture. That was what caught my eye initially.
