The Deep Valley Arts Collective invites artists to submit artwork for their upcoming “Myths and Monsters” exhibition at MEDIUM Art Gallery, which will be on display for the month of October.

As the days grow shorter and darkness creeps in, we are reminded of the many spooks and creatures that generations of people before us have plucked from their imaginations. From the mythical creatures of ancient Greece to the modern day zombie story, humans have always imagined the most fantastically dark beings to make our hearts race and remind us that we are alive. “Myths and Monsters” will showcase a variety of artwork exploring the things that go bump in the night.

Pieces chosen for in-person display at MEDIUM Art Gallery in Ukiah can be listed for sale with the commission fee optional.

  • There is no entry fee and a limit of three entries per artist. All media welcome.
  • Deadline for entries: Sunday, September 22, 2024, 11:59 PM PST.
  • Opening reception: Friday, October 4th, 2024, 5:00-8:00 PM PST.
  • The show runs through Saturday, October 26th, 2024.

To submit, go to www.deepvalleyarts.org/call-for-entry. All artwork must be submitted online for consideration.
