The St. Mary’s 6th-grade girls’ volleyball team kicked off this weekend with a solid win against St. Vincent on Saturday. The Eagles won the game in two sets, showing impressive teamwork and determination at St. John’s Catholic School in Healdsburg.
Key plays by Lyla Estevo with four aces and Lexi Sublet’s defensive efforts helped secure a 25-20 win in the first set. The second set was a battle, but St. Mary’s prevailed, with five aces from Madeline Dalistan and an impressive offensive move from Serafina Pardini, winning 25-17 to take the game.
Coach Kenzie White praised the team, stating, “The girls worked hard, and their teamwork really showed today. Watching them grow is such a gift!”
