The following is a press release issued by the Waldorf School of Mendocino County:

Good times at previous years Halloween get-together at the Waldorf School of Mendocino County

Experience the magic of Halloween at the Enchanted Pumpkin Path, an annual celebration hosted by The Waldorf School of Mendocino County. The event scored a Gold Medal for Best Annual Event in the 2024 Best of Lake & Mendocino Awards. This year’s theme, “Mother of the Waters,” highlights the school’s steadfast commitment to environmental reverence and respect—a core value that has shaped the Mendocino community since 1972.

The Enchanted Pumpkin Path offers a spectacular, refined-sugar-free, and scare-free Halloween adventure suitable for all ages! Guests can enjoy whimsical performances and receive a small gift at the end of each skit. Families can also gather at the Smokey Cauldron Café to enjoy low-sugar, allergen-conscious seasonal treats. “Parents today are concerned with their children’s sugar intake, and it is so refreshing to have a healthier and inclusive Halloween option”, shared Brie Abbe, a nurse midwife at MCHC. The café offers local, organic, and nurturing meals for various dietary needs.

This event guarantees to create lasting memories for everyone involved!

So, grab your broomsticks and don’t miss out on this magical community celebration. Join the fun for a Halloween you won’t forget!
