Pedestrian dies in roadway collision northwest of Middletown

A pedestrian was reportedly killed this evening after being struck by a vehicle northwest of Middletown in Lake County.

According to scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol’s Traffic Incident Information Page, the first reports of the collision emerged at 5:08 p.m., describing a man lying in the roadway, possibly deceased, near the intersection of State Route 175 and McKinley Drive.

By 5:18 p.m., first responders had begun CPR, but fifteen minutes later, the request for an air ambulance was canceled, and a coroner was called to the scene.

  1. Why do people drive fast? I don’t understand that. They must be stupid people. Any seasoned driver knows that the faster you go, the less you could do if something starts happening, and they drive accordingly. Morons get in their car and drive fast and kill themselves or other people. It’s stupid
