A person was reportedly shot and killed this evening at Library Park in the Lake County community of Lakeport. Law enforcement is on the scene searching for possible suspects.

Scanner traffic at 9:20 p.m. indicated a shooting near the park’s gazebo. Officers noted reports of an altercation just minutes before the gunshot was reported.
