With the Mendocino Film Festival fast approaching, Raise the Tent aims to help MFF continue to produce a world-class festival for Mendocino County residents, visitors, film lovers, and filmmakers from around the globe. Angela Matano, the Festival’s Executive Director, said, “The Festival tent is our crown jewel. It allows us to screen movies for a large audience and put on special events. Support for the fundraiser in February will be critical to the festival’s ongoing success.”
Now in its 18th year, the Mendocino Film Festival has become an internationally recognized showcase for new independent films. In 2025, the Festival takes place from May 29 to June 1, screening more than 65 films, and includes the beloved Reel Mendo feature that showcases short films made by locals.
MFF Board Chair, Peter Lopez, echoed Ms. Matano: “The festival has been a mainstay for independent filmmakers, and local sponsorships and support enable us to continue producing such a great annual event. Please reach out to us if you or your business is interested in becoming a sponsor this year.” The Mendocino Film Festival is a 501(c)(3) organization and sponsorships are tax-deductible.
