A single-vehicle crash on State Route 162, the main route in and out of the remote Mendocino County community of Covelo, has reportedly resulted in a fatality.
According to scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol’s Traffic Incident Information page, the accident occurred around 1:55 p.m. near mile marker 5.70 when the vehicle veered off the roadway.
Dispatch informed first responders that an occupant of the vehicle reported their spouse had no pulse after the crash. Fire and medical personnel arrived and attempted CPR, but the victim’s injuries were declared fatal around 2:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Caltrans QuickMap indicates that traffic in the area is reduced to one-way due to emergency work. The restrictions extend from 1.5 miles west of Bloody Run Creek Bridge to the bridge itself.

Interesting. At first, it said that when deputies reached the driver he was breathing but unresponsive. Now it says that his spouse said there was no pulse. Which one is it? Was there somebody in the car with him or not the first one said there wasn’t this one saying there was a spouse. Kind of strange to have a bouncing around story about the details of how he was found. Breathing but unresponsive or with a spouse that said he had no pulse. The hell’s going on here

When I opened the article I also read something about a spouse and then when I scrolled back through it said nothing about a spouse so maybe it’s because of the newsapp thing that I have maybe he has it too because mine definitely looked like it was one accident I don’t know what happened but it said that at first for sure so I was also confused.
