[UPDATE] Four Men Armed with Pistols Sought after Early Morning Cannabis Robbery in Hopland

According to scanner reports, Mendocino County law enforcement has issued a regional be on the lookout for two vehicles and four armed men associated with an early morning robbery of a cannabis farm in the area of Pratt Ranch Road in Hopland. 

Dispatch described the suspects as “four-armed individuals wearing masks and armed with pistols with laser sights.” The two vehicles being sought are a green Kia Soul and a dark-colored GMC SUV with “two occupants in each vehicle.” There is no known direction of travel after the suspects left the farm at 6:20 a.m.

UPDATE 8:15 a.m.

According to Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office’s Public Information Officer Greg Van Patten, deputies are at the Pratt Ranch property now investigating what has been reported as an armed robbery of marijuana.

Captain Van Patten said four armed suspects with masks confronted a guard at the property on the 12000 block of Pratt Ranch Road at 5:40 a.m. and fled at approximately 6:30 a.m. He provided the detail that the green Kia Soul being sought by law enforcement belonged to the property’s guard and was stolen by the suspects.
