North Coast Opportunities Recruiting Volunteers to Assist in Providing Healthcare Support to Vulnerable Populations

Categories:

The following is a press release issued by North Coast Opportunities:

NCO Volunteer Network is recruiting volunteers over the age of 18 to assist Lake and Mendocino Counties in meeting the needs of vulnerable populations.

We are aware that there is risk involved for all volunteers at this unprecedented time; therefore, we will be providing all volunteers with the following:

  • Safety procedures and supplies
  • Mileage reimbursement of .25 per mile
  • Supplemental medical and auto insurance coverage

In the near future, we anticipate volunteer needs will include packaging, pickup and delivery of food and pharmaceuticals; and administrative tasks associated with healthcare facilities. Having volunteers enrolled and ready to serve when these needs arise is critical.

If you are available and willing to help, or have any questions related to this particular volunteer opportunity, please call 467-3200 x239 or register at volunteerNCO.org.
