A Rash of Shattered Windows Leads to Ukiah Police Arresting Suspect for Felony Vandalism

Five Ukiah businesses in the area of South State Street and Luce Avenue were victims of vandalism early this morning finding windows shattered. According to Ukiah Police Department Lieutenant Andy Phillips, Michael Domanowski was arrested after he was found “inside a near-by business” matching the appearance of the suspect.

It is important to note that this information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

Lieutenant Phillips said, after examining video surveillance at three of the businesses, Officers began searching the area. Officer contacted Domanowski inside of a nearby business and “located more evidence linking him to the crimes.” Ultimately, Lieutenant Phillips said Domanowski was arrested without incident for felony vandalism.

Victimized businesses include Express Mart, Downtown Dogs , The Center for Hope church, ABC Supply Company, and Stephanie’s Signature Hair.
