Garage and Attached Outbuilding Considered ‘Total Loss’ After Fire Breaks Out South of Fort Bragg

Categories:

According to Fort Bragg Fire Department’s Chief Steve Orsi, a fire at 32941 Tregoning Drive just south of Fort Bragg’s city limits resulted in the total loss of a garage and outbuilding. Chief Orsi emphasized that “nobody was hurt, nor were any animals.”

Chief Orsi said there were approximately 20 firefighters, three engines, and two water tenders responded to the fire. He said FBFD personnel were supported by a Cal Fire engine with four fire fighters.

Fire personnel were able to extricate some cars from the garage before it burnt down, but tools and other items were destroyed, Chief Orsi said.

Chief Orsi said the cause of the fire appeared to be electrical.
