Police Pursuit in Fort Bragg Results in Arrest

At approximately 2:25 p.m., Fort Bragg Police officers and Mendocino County Sheriff deputies were engaged in a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit ended on near the intersection of Franklin and South Street where officers took one suspect into custody.

According to a witness, the pursuit ended when the driver of the pursued Black Honda Accord drove through a grass, vacant lot near the intersection and officers closed in.

Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Captain Greg Van Patten confirmed that the vehicle pursuit resulted in an arrest.
