Scanner traffic indicates tribal police and Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office are responding to a residence on the 76000 Block of Covelo’s Henderson Lane regarding an individual who is reportedly “running around the property shooting off a fire arm.”
The dispatcher told responding officers that the reporting party is the mother of the suspected shooter and reported the son had actually shot at the door of the dwelling the mother was calling from.
UPDATE 3:48 p.m.
Mendocino County Sheriff deputies are on scene and are reporting they have visual of the suspected shooter described as wearing a red sweater. The suspect is reportedly being followed by an individual wearing a gray sweater.
