Air Ambulance Requested After Bull Rider is Injured at Laytonville Rodeo Grounds

Information is scant as the moment, but scanner traffic indicates a helicopter is responding to Laytonville regarding a bull rider that was injured at the Rodeo Grounds.

Laytonville Fire Department Chief Sue Carberry confirmed personnel from her agency are currently responding to the situation.

We will updated this article as more information become available.

UPDATE 4:24 p.m.: The helicopter ambulance transported the patient to a hospital.

UPDATE 7:44 p.m.: Laytonville Fire Department Chief Sue Carberry told us the patient was airlifted to Redding after being “stomped on by a bull.”
