The McNab Incident flared up along Highway 253 and a full wildland fire response was dispatched to the scene. Scanner traffic indicates the Incident Commander describes the fire as 2 acres in size with the potential to grow to 15-20 acres. The rate of spread was characterized as “moderate.”
Some of the initial resources were cancelled with the Incident Commander saying fire crews could have the fire out in ten minutes.
Ground and air fire resources were dispatched to tend to the flames.
One structure was identified as threatened due to its location up the hill above the flames.
