Mendocino County Deputies Pursuing Vehicle in Round Valley

Categories:

Scanner traffic as of 9:07 p.m. indicates Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office deputies are engaged in a vehicle pursuit in Round Valley. The suspect has reportedly been driving at speeds in excess of 50 mph on rural roads.

The latest locations of the vehicle and the pursuing deputies are Biggar Lane and then they turned onto Oak Lane. The pursuing deputy reported he had lost sight of the subject on Oak Lane due to dust but then relocated the vehicle. The deputy expressed concern the suspect could bail from the vehicle and flee on foot.

The initial stop on the vehicle was due to a lighting violation, a deputy told the dispatcher.
