Categories:

The following is a press release issued by the City of Fort Bragg:

Akeff Construction crews will continue performing underground storm drain work and installing new maintenance holes requiring full closure of both lanes on Maple Street between Corry Street and S. Harold Street. The work and full section road closures are scheduled for Monday, July 26 and Wednesday, July 28, 2021 between 7:30 am – 6:00 pm to thru traffic, and no parking will be permitted in the work zone.

Drivers should avoid the area and follow detour signs through to Chestnut Street as an alternative thoroughfare during the closure. Further updates will be forthcoming regarding project progress and potential closures. If you wish to learn more about the project and receive regular updates, please subscribe to the Maple Street Storm Drain and Alley Rehabilitation Project Notifications Portal on the City website at https://city.fortbragg.com/list.aspx.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the patience of all residents and others driving in the vicinity. We would like to remind drivers to drive cautiously in the work zones, use alternate roadways, or avoid the area if possible.
