Pickup Reportedly Goes Down Embankment on Highway 20 West of Willits

Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate a pickup truck has reportedly gone down an embankment on Highway 20 between Willits and Fort Bragg.

Little Lake Fire Department and an ambulance have been dispatched to mile marker 29.10 where the incident reportedly occurred.

The Incident Commander reported the vehicle is as reported down an embankment, on its wheels, and it appears it has been there for “some time.” He told dispatch they would be combing the scene for any other information.

UPDATE 8:23 p.m.: The vehicle was actually reported by CHP during a previous traffic accident, as per the Incident Commander, and was thought to be just parked in the field.
