[UPDATE: 3:59 p.m.]Medics Responding to Elderly Male Crushed by a Tree on Highway 20 East of Fort Bragg

Scanner traffic beginning at 3:50 p.m. indicates medics are responding to the 29000 block of Highway 20 near the Wildwood Campground after reports emerged of an elderly male being “crushed by a tree.”

The initial reports indicate the individual is possibly deceased.

UPDATE 3:58 p.m.: Medics at the scene have confirmed the patient has succumbed to his injuries. Our prayers go out to them and their families.
