Covelo Man Booked for Domestic Violence Accused of Pushing Wife Into Wall, Says MCSO

The following is a press release issued by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

On 11-20-2021 at approximately 7:20 PM Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 24000 block of Foothill Boulevard in Covelo, California.

Upon the Deputies arrival they contacted two people who were married and had a child in common. 

The couple had began arguing when Pervinder Lal pushed the adult female into a wall. This caused the female’s head to hit the corner of the wall causing a visible injury. 

Pervinder was arrested for domestic violence battery (273.5 PC) and he was booked into the Mendocino County Jail where he was to be held in lieu of $25,000.00 bail.
