Detectives Ask for Public Assistance in Locating Suspected Guerneville Bank Robber

The following is a press release issued by the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office. The information has not been proven in a court of law and any individuals described should be presumed innocent until proven guilty:

Detectives are searching for Bradley Bennett, who is suspected of robbing a bank in Guerneville on December 31.

We received a 911 call at approximately 12:30 p.m. on December 31. A bank located in the 16000 block of Main Street in Guerneville had just been robbed. The suspect approached a teller, handed him a note, demanded money, and alluded he had a weapon. The teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect walked out of the bank and left the area on a bicycle. It is unknown if the suspect was armed; he did not show or use a weapon. Nobody was injured during the robbery.

Deputies quickly identified the suspect as Bradley Bennett, 33, transient. Bennett is a white man, 5’10” and 225 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. His photo is shown below.

Violent Crimes Detectives are investigating this case and searching for Bennett. We are asking for the community’s assistance in finding him. If you see Bennett, call 911. If you know where he is, call Dispatch at 707-565-2121.
