  1. Sign of the times
    ?
    Here’s some Bible truth.

    Romans 1:31
“Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:”

    King James Version (KJV)

    • Religions are like penises. It’s perfectly fine to have one, and its natural to be proud of it, but unless someone asks to be introduced to it, it’s best to keep it to yourself. Don’t whip it out in public. Don’t shove it down others’ throats, and never, EVER force it on children.

  2. I wonder if this is related to the 33 year old Willits woman found deceased along the highway in Cloverdale this past weekend. So very sad.

      • @Mila, I hope this helps.

In the Bible Cain killed Abel his brother and this is what it says.

“And he [God] said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.”

Genesis chapter 4:10 Holy Bible (KingJamesVersion)

  3. Seems I recently read on Mendo Fever, in the arson section I was searching through, a man attempting arson in this very same spot…but can’t remember if it was recent occurrence, or older story. If it was recent, not saying it was related, just raised a flag in my head….In any case this is very sad.

  4. Disposable people in a disposable world. Can we get a name? A human being died but not a movie star, sports figure, of political official. Just a human of zero importance to media or law inforcement.

    • DC,
It is standard practice in the US and CA that names of murder victims are not to be released until after law enforcement has certified that all the appropriate next of kin have been notified.
This is not a new concept or process.

No need to jump to conclusions, trump up some bullshit, and then cast generalized aspersions, when the simple fact is that you clearly just don’t understand the law enforcement process or the lawful limits placed upon such investigations.

Slow your roll and be patient…you are not important to this process.
Informing you of the victim’s name is the absolute lowest priority for law enforcement right now.

      • ?@non-fiction, I get what Doug is saying. Where’s the humanity? I agree. A lot of the times the deceased is known to people in the community even when that person is homeless or addicted and they disappear .

But we don’t know that they’ve died and don’t find out for years sometimes if ever.

I have cried tears over a few homeless friends killed. They were people I cared about, fed, and tried to help or encourage. They never made the paper. Well one did, Jimmy. But one out of how many? Oh and Duane.

I talked to one mama who was reluctant to put her daughter in the paper because of people who are so cruel and judge mental. I can’t blame get. Her daughter died of a drug overdose. She couldn’t handle all the critical comments and grieve too.

It’s too bad that people are so inhumane nowadays we could’ve offered valuable support to that mama who was grieving and many mamas like her who suffer in silence.

My Heart goes out to all the parents who grieve in silence over children who have died from a drug overdose which is epidemic. And other love ones who have died for whatever reason. This is for you.,,??

  5. It’s really sad, but stealing from people, especially ones you may not want to steal from, may have caught up with her. She was booked on 1/1/22 for felony burglary…

  6. What would you think if I bent all your spoon
Just to cook up some smack for my need
Lend me some cash and I won’t pay you back
Cause I have a rich habit to feed
Still I get by when I rip off my friends
I can get high when I rip off my friends
I wonder why I don’t have any friends

Without drug laws, these crimes would not happen.
Without drug laws, prisons would reflect world wide incarceration rates.
