The following is a press release issued by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office:
Between 12:00 and 1:00 this afternoon, May 25th, 2022, John Daniel Bachelder left his home in the area of TigerWood Ct and Firethorne Rd in Hidden Valley.
He left on foot with unknown clothing and is described as a 68 year old white male with grey hair and hazel eyes. He is known to walk in the area of the Conestoga Trail in Hidden Valley to look for gems. He is considered at risk due to possible medical conditions and the heat today.

Lake County Search and Rescue is enroute to aid in locating John.
