Subject Wounded After Accidental Gun Discharge in Fort Bragg

Medical, fire, and law enforcement are responding to 32000 block of North Harbor Drive in Fort Bragg after a man accidentally shot himself in the leg with his own firearm.

Scanner traffic beginning around 12:55 p.m. indicated a motorcyclist carrying a firearm on his hip accidentally discharged the weapon shooting him in the leg.

  1. And some people be screaming for elementary school teachers to open carry in the classroom. If he had a license to open carry a loaded gun then isn’t a gun safety course required? Safest advice, don’t put one in the chamber unless you plan to shoot, keep the safety on.
