Michelle Salgado is worried about her husband, 24-year-old Angel Fulgado. He left their Berkeley home around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2022 and never came back. Using a tracking function on his phone, his last reported location was near Ukiah on Sunday afternoon before he apparently turned off his phone.
Since his photograph has begun circulation locally, his wife told us three people reported seeing him in the area, but those sightings at this point are unconfirmed.
Sometime between 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Fulgado was reportedly seen at the Forks Market in Ukiah, hours after leaving his home in Berkeley.
Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Captain Greg Van Patten confirmed his agency had taken a report of the sighting but had not been able to confirm it at this point.
On Monday, December 19, 2022, Fulgado was seen in the Lake County town of Nice around 2 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. He was seen at both the Chevron Gas Station and the Dollar General store.
This behavior is not characteristic of Fulgado, his wife told us. They have been working hard as a young couple with their newborn, but beyond that, why he left and did not return is unclear.
Both Ukiah Police Department and MCSO said they had not taken a formal missing person report but their officers/deputies know to be on the lookout for Fulgado.
The 24-year-old man is known to be driving a blue/gray 2017 four-door Toyota Corolla. The vehicle is noticeable due to the driver’s side mirror having adhesive tape on it.
Fulgado was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, pants, and Nike Vapors. His eyes and hair are brown; he stands at 5’4” weighing 160 pounds. He has what looks like two tattoos but is actually a single piece running from his right shoulder to his chest depicting a two koi fish.
If you have information about Fulgado’s whereabouts or well-being, the family is asking you to call (510) 682-4283.

Ok thank you for the license plate number. Now we have a tool since that make and model is so common. I hope and pray this young man is safe somewhere. ?
