A tree has fallen across Highway 128 east of Flynn Creek Road as of 3:20 p.m. blocking both the west and eastbound lanes for an indefinite length of time.
A community member sent us an image of the blocked roadway with a line of cars stacking up. We were told that Caltrans is on the scene and expressed to commuters it could be a “couple hours” before the roadway is cleared.
The California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page confirms the incident at this point but has not detailed the closure of the roadway.
UPDATE 6:36 p.m.: The roadway is now open.
