Hammered by Winter Storms, the County of Mendocino Proclaims Local Emergency

The following is a press release issued by the County of Mendocino:

On January 6, 2023, the Chief Executive Officer/Director of Emergency Services Darcie Antle has proclaimed a local emergency due to severe winter storms.

The Office of Emergency Services (OES) has activated the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) which is being operated under the direction of the Director of Emergency Services Darcie Antle and Assistant Director of Emergency Services Sheriff Matt Kendall.

Please exercise caution when traveling around the County during these hazardous weather conditions. Reminder, be aware and move over for road crews, PG&E and first responders.
