A single-vehicle traffic collision on the Ridgewood Grade has resulted in a truck on its side blocking one of Highway 101’s northbound lanes.
Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate a truck struck the center divider head-on around 5:20 p.m. near the exit to Golden Rule mobile home park.
Initially, the male driver was reportedly stuck in the vehicle but by the time the Incident Commander assessed conditions he had self-extricated.
The #1 lane of Highway 101 northbound is blocked by the vehicle and first responders at the scene are securing the area as they await a tow truck.
The Caltrans Quickmap indicates traffic delays are minimal as of 5:47 p.m.
UPDATE 6:15 p.m.: The incident has been terminated and the truck has been cleared from the roadway.
