Vehicle Collides With Tree in Gualala—Air Ambulance En Route

A patient suffered moderate injuries this morning near Gualala after their vehicle slammed into a tree requiring transport via air ambulance.

Scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information page indicate that around 8:56 a.m. a green Chevrolet Tahoe smashed into a tree near the intersection of Pacific Woods Road and Friendly Avenue.

Initial reports from the scene described the accident resulting in injuries. Ground crews relayed to the air ambulance the injuries were “moderate”.

The air ambulance is inbound to the Ocean Ridge Airport where they will pick up the patient.
