House Fully Engulfed in Flames, Patient With Third Degree Burns

A 15’x15? home in the 42,000 block of the Comptche-Ukiah Road east of the coastal town of Mendocino is fully engulfed in flames. The first call came in a little after 1 p.m.

Firefighters arriving on the scene learned of one patient with third-degree burns and requested a helicopter to respond to transport the victim to a hospital.

All residents are out of the structure.

REACH Air Medical Services has accepted the mission.
