At about 11:30 a.m., a vehicle crashed off Hwy 1, rolling over several times before coming to rest. The vehicle landed on its side about 100 yards down the embankment, according to a report on the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.
Because it was unknown how many patients were in the vehicle, two REACH medical transport helicopters were requested. However, emergency personnel have been able to ascertain that there is a single patient and canceled the second helicopter.
As of 12:30 p.m., a REACH medical transport helicopter is landing soon on Hwy 1 to pick up the patient.
