Many residents of Mendocino County have turned to our local social safety net when times got tough. For those residents who received that support, MendoFever wants to understand your experience.

We are excited to work with local reporter Sarah Reith who is looking into the County of Mendocino’s social services infrastructure. Her examination begins with assessing the county’s provision of shelter.

Specifically, we want to hear from those residents who have been housed in local hotels/motels. We want to know about the living conditions of these properties, the financial support provided by the county government, and your experience navigating the bureaucracy to receive support.

Some of the questions we have include:

  • When were you/your family housed in these hotels approximately? For how long?
  • Which property were you housed in?
  • Did this assistance improve your overall situation?
  • How would you describe the overall quality of the accommodations?

Use the contact form below and tell us briefly about your experience and we will follow up.
