Mendocino County Office of Emergency Services (OES) is launching a new evacuation mapping software on MendoReady.org on Monday, March 18, 2024. Genasys Protect is an evacuation management tool that helps first responders plan, communicate, and execute evacuations more effectively.

The Genasys Protect map allows the public to view all emergency advisories, warnings, and orders in the County. It also allows the public to view incident-specific evacuation points, evacuation centers, shelters, road closures, sandbag stations, and other resources.

The naming convention for the zones will now include the prefix MEN. The rest of the name designation and the preestablished zone boundaries have not changed. Visit MendoReady.org to find the zones for your home, work, children’s school, family members’ zones, etc.

Please see the attached FAQ for more information.

For all questions, please contact OES@mendocinocounty.gov or call 707-234-6398.
