Calling all residents of Mendocino County!

Laytonville Skatepark is hoping for just a moment of your time and support.

Roland Spence, a proud resident of beautiful Laytonville, California, told us the skatepark is a finalist in the Sakrete Concrete Company’s competition known as the Skatekrete Showdown. The winning skatepark will win pallets of concrete to enhance its facilities.

Spence said this opportunity is not just about skating—it’s about providing our young skaters with valuable masonry skills that could pave the way for future careers in construction.

Spence emphasized, that regardless of the outcome, Laytonville Skatepark is committed to moving forward with building Phase 2 of the Skatepark.

Let’s join forces and show our support by voting for “Laytonville DIY” at sakrete.com/vote. Round 1 voting ends, Friday, May 9th at midnight so share this far and wide to make sure our very own Laytonville Skatepark makes it to the next round!
