Emergency personnel are en route to a traffic collision on Highway 1 near mile marker 27. Around 9:20 a.m. on June 3, dispatch advised first responders that a semi had wrecked on the coastal highway north of Manchester.
The CHP Traffic Incident Information page states that the semi is approximately 100 feet over a hill. The cad also states that Caltrans is reporting that it appears that the semi struck an embankment, “then went down.”
According to scanner traffic, extrication is needed.
CHP is reporting there is dirt in the southbound lane at the scene of the collision, just south of Mill Creek. Please use caution in the area.

Update 9:42 a.m.: According to scanner traffic, the incident commander at the scene reported that the semi and forty-foot trailer was 100 feet off the west side of Highway 1, situated in a deep gully.
The solo occupant, the driver, is outside of the vehicle and reported to have no injuries. All incoming medical personnel were canceled.
Dispatch continued incoming fire units as they manage the collision scene and traffic control.
