Journey Through Art: ‘Anywhere But Here’ at Ukiah’s MEDIUM Gallery

The Deep Valley Arts Collective is pleased to announce their August group art exhibition titled “Anywhere But Here” opening at MEDIUM Art Gallery in Ukiah and on display from August 2nd through August 31st, 2024. 

“Anywhere But Here” provides reflections on time and place, longing, wanderlust, and exploration through the desire to document and share our experiences with loved ones. Examples of submissions include but are not limited to photos and artwork of landscapes, buildings, and people from travels, letters and postcards, journal entries, poems, cartography, vintage postal ephemera, assemblage, and more. 

Opening Reception: First Friday Art Walk: Friday, August 2nd, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Special Music Showcase featuring live performances by guests Adrianna Martin, Emma Rea, and Jah Dready. Beverages and light refreshments available. Community postcard art project – supplies provided. 

Come support the arts in our community! 

  • Opening reception: Friday, August 2nd, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
  • The show runs through Saturday, August 31st, 2024. 

MEDIUM Art Gallery is in the Pear Tree Center in Ukiah at 518 E. Perkins Street, next to AT&T. Current gallery hours are Mondays through Saturdays 12-6 p.m.
