A pedestrian was reportedly injured this evening after being struck by a white truck towing a trailer near Fort Bragg. The driver of the vehicle reportedly fled the scene following the incident.
The collision occurred around 7:01 p.m. near the intersection of State Route 20 and Babcock Lane, just east of Fort Bragg, according to scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page.
First responders are currently converging on the scene. The extent of the injuries is unknown.
UPDATE 7:15 p.m.: A bystander at the scene relayed to first responders that both the victim and the driver had left the scene. Additionally, the victim reportedly had a visible contusion on his head.
UPDATE 7:20 p.m.: The Fort Bragg Police Department is reportedly out with a male bleeding from the face at the Noyo Bridge thought to be the victim of the hit and run.

Both left scene……..not a hit run. ,more to this I’m sure, 10 days to report a injury or non injury accident….after a year everything dropped if people do not pursue more action. If one stayed it would be different.
