[UPDATE: Under Control] Grass Fire on McNab Ranch Road

According to scanner reports, a grass fire is burning at 2371 McNab Ranch Road with a high potential risk of spread into grass and woodland. The fire is currently estimated to be one acre in size with a moderate of spread.

UPDATE: 3:09 pm

Over the scanner, Fire personnel at the scene are now characterizing the fire as a “slow rate of spread”. Also, there is chatter over the scanner about one structure being threatened.

UPDATE: 3:20 pm

According to scanner reports, the fire is on both sides of the road and is at half an acre in size. There is a full air and wildland response to the incident.

UPDATE: 3:36 pm

Scanner reports indicate forward progress has been stopped. And air resource and ground resource have been released from the incident.

UPDATE: 4:33 pm

Scanner reports throughout the last hour indicate more resources are being released from the McNab Incident indicating the fire is under control.
