Two Travel Trailers Catch Fire in Ukiah Yesterday Evening

Categories:

The following information was provided to us by Ukiah Valley Fire Authority Battalion Chief Eric Singleton:

Ukiah Valley Fire Authority was dispatched at 20:11:55 for a commercial vehicle fire in the parking lot of the 1337 S Dora St. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.  Units arrived and found two fully involved 5th Wheel Travel Trailers with an immediate threat to the structure (Church).  Crews did a great job making a quick knockdown of the fire, with no extension into structure.  Additionally, CalFire responded and assisted the Fire Authority with fire suppression.  Crews remained on scene for approximately one and a half hours for extensive mop-up and investigation.  The fire’s cause is still under investigation but does not appear to be suspicious in nature at this time.
