Mendocino County Hosting Vaccine Event for Residents Due for Second Dose of Pfizer Vaccine

The following is a press release issued by the County of Mendocino:

The County of Mendocino is announcing a second-vaccination event for individuals who received their first Pfizer vaccine doses on January 6th or 7th . This event is ONLY for those who were vaccinated on those days at the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds and are awaiting their second dose.

“If you received your first Pfizer vaccine on either of these days, please plan on receiving your second dose on Wednesday, January 27 thfrom 9:00 to 4:00 pm by appointment at the Redwood Empire Fairgrounds,” says Mendocino County Vaccine Coordinator Adrienne Thompson.

This event is not open to the public. It is specifically for those who were vaccinated by Mendocino County Public Health at the Fairgrounds. Those scheduled for their second dose must bring identification and their vaccination card.

“From today forward, all vaccinations will be scheduled by appointment only,” says Thompson. “For those who do not have internet access, please contact our Covid-19 call center or email our operations center for appointments. Thank you to everyone for your patience and tolerance as we continue to refine our call center response and communications.”
