Lake County Sheriff Investigating Homicide After Woman Shoots Male Who Had Assaulted Her

The following is a press release issued by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office:

On 07/07/21, at approximately 1008 hours, the Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report that a female victim had arrived at a local hospital after shooting a male subject that had assaulted her.  The assault was reported to have occurred in the 12000th block of Island Circle in Clearlake Oaks.  The female victim was contacted by detectives and is cooperating with the investigation.

Deputies responded to the Island Circle residence and located a deceased male subject.  Deputies believed the injuries the male sustained were consistent with gunshot wounds.  The male subject’s identity is being withheld pending positive identification and notification of next of kin.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and is investigating the events.  This investigation is ongoing and additional details surrounding the events will be released when available.  Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is encouraged to contact Detective Todd Dunia at: 707-262-4232 or todd.dunia@lakecountyca.gov

Kansas Missouri she should be not go outside the California should be in jail clearlake he killed someone multiple gunshots she should be arrested and stay for jail for life that is homicide it’s a crime why did the police Let Her Go she’s running away what she did should be in lie detector.
