[UPDATE: Rescued] Rescuers Responding to Dog Down Embankment on Lake Mendocino Drive

At approximately 9:10 p.m. scanner traffic indicated that first responders have been dispatched to the 700 block of Lake Mendocino Drive to rescue a dog.

The dispatcher said the dog climbed over a fence and is now 25 feet down a steep embankment.

UPDATE 9:50 p.m.: Scanner traffic indicates the dog was successfully rescued.
